I used to make jokes about my sister for buying these expensive products for her hair. Like the Chi for instance. She bought one when they first became ‘HOT’ from our local salon and paid over $100. I couldn’t believe she paid that much for something that simply straightened her hair.
She didn’t put up with my jokes long and decided that I needed to see how it worked for myself. If I didn’t think it was awesome, I could continue to pick on her about it; if I saw the benefits she described and liked my hair better after using it, I had to shut it and listen to her rub it in that she was right, haha. So I took her up on it and let her straighten my already straight hair with the Chi. I was expecting to see no improvements and be able to rub it in her face that she spent soooo much on something that really did nothing more than the $20 straighteners could do.
Boy was I wrong! My hair was so shiny (not in a greasy/dirty way) and healthy looking. No frizzies, no burnt hair….perfect! My hair, at that time (9 years ago), was already straight on it’s own. I didn’t think I would have any need for a straightener, but my hair really looked so much better, after using the Chi. I was hooked! I wanted one so bad after that and borrowed hers every chance I got. I eventually bought one for myself and then got a new straightener (different brand) a few months ago.
The point to my personal story above, is sometimes the ‘hype’ of the all the ‘ions’ or ‘ionic’ products…is for a reason. There is sometimes something to be said for higher-end products that cost us a little more than we may prefer to spend. That being said, I do LOVE the higher-end, great quality products…but as always, at a discounted price. No matter what my income status is (not that I’ve ever been rich or wealthy), I will never want to pay full price for something. I was born with a bargain hunter’s heart and I make a point to shop around and find discounts and great deals on the products I want. If I can’t find one, I normally will wait to make my purchase.
Why am I telling you all of this? Because there is a GREAT deal on a ISO Ionic Pro Hairdryer that ends today, 2/13/12, at 11am EST!! You can get this in your choice of color (pearl, giraffe print, or zebra print). It’s selling for $69 which is 66% OFF!! These normally cost around $200.00 retail, so this is a very generous discount!!
I had to go check Amazon’s price to see if this really was a good deal, and even Amazon can’t beat this price!! Amazon has this item marked at $79.95 (2 color options) and shipping adds another $9.86 with them (no prime or super saver shipping available). That makes theirs about $90 total. It does have a 5-star review, which is always nice to see.
So this deal I found at 66% OFF is a very good sale with an unbeatable price! It’s ending very soon, so don’t delay if you’re interested!!
